The brewery is located in the centre of Kinlochleven where it not only benefits from the magnificent views but also from the exceptional quality of water. The brewery is housed in the former carbon smelter - a monument to the proud, industrial heritage of the village. Kinlochleven proudly hosts the Pre-65 Motorbike Event along with the Scottish Six Day Trials www.ssdt.org. Another yearly event is the Caledonian Challenge www.caledonianchallenge.com.
As an adition to the Pre 65 Event (and creating a wee bit of history) the first Moidart Penninsula Classic Road Run took place in 2010. This road run is for mature riders on old classic mototbikes who are no longer fit or able to ride the event but still want to be in Kinlochleven to soak up the atmosphere.
This event is usually held on the Thursday prior to the Pre 65 event and assembles in the viaduct car park for signing on and departing at 9am and returning to there to sign off at approx 5pm. This event has the full support of the Pre 65 Trial Organisers. Historically (pre 1965) the Six Day Trials route took in the Moidart Penninsula so this additional run will bring back a lot of memories!
