KCT Hanging Basket Project 2010

For the 2010 season the Trust will be continuing with our Hanging Basket Sponsorship Scheme.  This will offer a fantastic opportunity to enhance the look of our community with beautiful hanging baskets which will be installed and maintained by Kinlochleven Community Trust.  This sponsorship scheme is open to individuals or businesses and will help make Kinlochleven a more attractive place to live, work and visit.

Fifty baskets have been ordered from Airds Bay Horticultural who has provided the community with high quality baskets over the past three years.  A further twenty six baskets have been planted by Kinlochleven Primary School and Nursery Pupils along with some further floral displays for areas within our community.  The cost of sponsorship per basket is £25.00.

For the 2010 Season the Trust would like to thank Highland Council, Action Earth, Co-operative Community Fund, Local Sponsorship, Local Donations and The Scottish Community Foundation for all financial assistance.  All funding received is directly allocated towards the purchase of baskets and watering services.
